Our Management Team has well over 100 years accumulated business and technical experience in the medical device industry. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds from all over the world.


Brad Sharp, CEO

Mr. Sharp has a bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics from UCSD and has been involved in development and marketing of high tech products for over 23 years. His medical device career began with Baxter CVG in Japan managing the cardiology business (1995-1996), followed by a GM role in Singapore running CVG Asia (1996-1999). Mr. Sharp was instrumental in the spin-out of Edwards Lifesciences where he served as VP of Strategy (1999-2000). In 2000 he left Edwards to join Orqis Medical, and to found Insightra. Today he is CEO of Insightra, and also serves as CEO of Minos Medical an Insightra incubated company.

Steve Bell, President & CMO

Mr. Bell is a graduate in physiology with over 19 years experience in the medical device arena. His career spans many specialties including general surgery, laparoscopy, cardiac surgery, cardiology, gynecology, urology and thoracic surgery. Mr Bell spent a long part of his career within Johnson & Johnson holding roles in sales, marketing, general management, project management in european and global product launch roles. His previous role was in Orqis Medical as VP International. He acts as strategic advisory consultant to several major medical device companies.


Wayne Noda, CTO

Mr. Noda has a BS degree in Biomedical Engineering from USC and a MBA degree. He has spent 28 years in the medical device industry primarily with start up ventures such as Medstone Int’l, Laparomed, Abacus, and Alsius. Mr. Noda served as Director, Cofounder or Owner and all had successful IPO’s, mergers or liquidation events. He holds 47 U.S. Patents that span a broad spectrum of devices and technologies, from minimally invasive suturing devices to intravascular patient temperature control systems. His experience ranges from artificial heart valves and cardiopulmonary bypass to wireless patient vital signs systems. Currently, he serves as CTO for Minos Medical and Insightra Medical.

Laxmikant Khanolkar - VP Global Operations

Mr Khanolkar has over 25 years of experience within the field of pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He has held prior leadership roles in Edwards Life sciences, Baxter Healthcare and Glaxo. Laxmi brings with him a wealth of knowledge of commercial operations and is responsible for global sales operations. Mr Khanolkar left Edwards life sciences to become CEO of Insightra Ptv, based out of India. The company carries many cardiovascular lines and cardiology products. He is now responsible for all sales and distribution matters for Insightra Medical, inc.


Asim Ashary, CFO

Mr. Ashary is founder and CEO of Manhattan Data, Inc. (MDI), a healthcare administration outsourcing company based in Irvine, California. Prior to MDI, in 1999 Asim co-founded ppoNEXT, Inc. He is a senior healthcare executive with two decades of experience in business operations, claims administrations, marketing, finance and MIS operations. Prior to co-founding ppoNEXT, Mr. Ashary has held senior executive positions with BPS Healthcare, Orange Coast Managed Care, Equicore Health Plans, Cigna Health Plans and Maxicare Health Plans. He has an MBA degree from Institute of Business Administration, in Pakistan, and has completed CPA coursework offered by AICPA.
